Pythagoras was born in 580 BC on Samos, an island in the Aegean Sea. As a result of the announcement of a clairvoyant about his birth, his father decided to call him Pythagoras, that is, the birth announcement of Pythia.

Pythagoras is considered the first teacher of humanity. His life was full of mysteries and adventures. At the age of 18, he leaves the island of Samos after participating in the Olympic Games. He arrives in Lesbos, where he will be initiated by great masters. Later, he arrives in Syria and Egypt, where he comes into contact with several priests and magicians.

He returns to Greece, where he will establish a true school of philosophy, religion and science. Even women and foreigners are welcome to study at this school. The selection of participants in these courses was even made by Pythagoras. I had some criteria. Among them, the physiognomy, gestures, laughter, relationships with parents.

The trial period was three years, after which the participants were able to continue the courses or were rejected. In addition to mathematical knowledge, he teaches esoteric notions, symbols and codes about what the inner part of man meant.

Pythagoras considered arithmetic, music, geometry and astronomy as the four areas on which evolution was based. Those attending these courses had to strictly follow certain rules. The diet was a first rule. It was forbidden to eat meat, organs or eggs. These were the symbol of life.

A second rule imposed religious rituals without sacrificing animals. The purification was achieved through the products of the earth, honey, flour. The spiritual exercises required meditation on a musical background made by instruments such as the pound.

Sports such as gymnastics, athletics, walks or dances were part of the daily ritual. All the students were dressed in white robes.

Pythagoras thinks that the world is a number. He laid the foundations for demonstrative and religious mathematics. The number represented the ordered plurality, and everything that existed was represented by a number. Pythagoras was the first to give the numbers a geometric representation. Affirm that ten is the perfect number, which consists of 1 2 3 4.

Pythagoras discovered the arithmetic ratio, a-b = b-c. At the same time, Pythagoras discovered the irrational number, the square root of the two. It was a true revolution in knowledge at that time. This is how the fraction came about.

Each number had a meaning. One was the point, two, line, three, triangle, four, volume, five, colors, six, soul, seven, spirit, eight, love, nine, Intellect and ten, perfection.

Pythagoras was also passionate about astronomy. He was the one who called heaven, the cosmos, and affirmed that the Earth is round. Pythagoras was convinced that the soul did not die and there was a cycle of reincarnation. Such a cycle ended once every 216 years.
