    Qatar complaint against Gulf neighbours

Qatar appealed to the World Trade Organization to set up a group to clarify their complaints to the neighbors in the Persian Gulf during the four-month blockade, according to the Ministry of Commerce on Friday. Qatar appealed to the WTO in August and insisted on being the victim of an "illegal siege" committed by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain to support relations with Doha in relations with Iran and accusations, extremists. At the beginning of the WTO request, Qatar was seeking a "consultation" with its competitors, the process required by the Geneva organization, before setting up the dispute settlement body (DBS).

In a document published on Thursday, the WTO said that the UAE refuses to consult with Doha, which means that the controversial panel will almost certainly be created. It was not immediately clear that Saudi Arabia and Bahrain also opposed the negotiations with Qatar in the WTO. The process of settling disputes in the WTO can take months, if not years, with initial decisions that are generally contestable. The economic and political sanctions against the gas-rich Qatar led to one of the greatest crises that have been observed in the Persian Gulf for decades. Doha categorically denies that he supports extremism. The emirate approached the Saudi archrival of Iran through the crisis.
