14 members of the same family born with 12 fingers and toes

14 members of the same family in Brazil were born with 12 fingers and toes. De Silva from Brazil recently welcomed the youngest member of the clan, a boy born with the same rare genetic abnormality, reports The Sun.

In this family, this anomaly is a unique quality, no concern. This type of genetic syndrome is called polydactyly. One of 1,000 people is born with a disorder.

"There are many mutations that lead to this disease, but in the case of simply superfluous fingers and toes, we are investigating the misexpression of the gene, which usually leads to patterns of your numbers," said Dr. Laura Lettis "The sun." Add: "If your mother or father has extra numbers, then you are worth a 50/50 chance to get the same type."

De Silvas is a thriving group and says that additional figures are an advantage that has made them the best musicians and athletes.
