    Disney World bans selfie sticks

    Disney authorities have declared that are banning selfie sticks at some of its stops around the world, starting on Tuesday with US areas in Florida and California.

    The well known device utilized by voyagers will never again be welcome at Disney's four Orlando amusement parks and the Disneyland resort in California on Tuesday. The boycott starts on 1 July at Disney stops in Paris and Hong Kong.

    "We endeavor to give an incredible ordeal to the whole family, and shockingly selfie sticks have turn into a developing wellbeing sympathy toward both our visitors and cast," a Disney World representative, Kim Prunty, told the Orlando Sentinel.

    Authorities say guests will have the alternative of turning in their selfie sticks for pick-up later, or returning them to their autos or lodging rooms.

    The sticks have been banned at a developing rundown of exhibition halls, music celebrations and games venues. The Smithsonian galleries advised guests to abandon them at home In March, calling it "a preventive measure to ensure guests and articles, particularly amid swarmed conditions".
